a wee bit of culture

in the school holidays just been, we took the children to the Auckland Museum for a bit of culture and exploration. I so love how these places cater for everyone, the children's area was as enthralling as the rest of the sprawling fabulousness....we spent most of the day here and so didn't cover eveything....it was wonderful and well worth the hour long traffic que to go home (making it a 3 hour trip - oiy!)....a few random pics....

The museum is so much fun! I've only been to the children's section recently but have been meaning to for an explore for ages. Makes it harder with the kidlet tho...

For sewing the tops I did use an overlocker for the bits around the neck. Next time I think I'll just iron the edges under on the strips and use the sewing machine because I only have white overlocker thread.
