this year we celebrated Channukah. It is known as the festival of lights...and each night a wee story is told and a candle lit...it was sweet and a remembering time. I loved lighting the candles every evening and having a simple family activity together...a lovely way to end the day.

oooh, sounds cool. you'll have to tell me about it for next year, i'm keen to start some more meaningful christmas traditions instead of just opening a chocolate (that has a use-by date of TWELVE MONTHS!! some kinda preservatives in there baby!! anyway...) that has Barbie or Bob the Builder splashed across the front!
