flopsy, mopsy and cottontail

I came across this sweet version of Peter Rabbit tales in the library the other day - something about his plight and his sighing mother really appeals to me...when reading his tales, I find myself sitting up, speaking properly and empathising terribly with his plight - oh dear! What a nerd!....but when read by on CD by someone who sounds like Judy Dench I am deliciously enthralled - shush, I totally know I'm a geek!...but I mean, take a look at these pages, these sweet little drawings and such proper feelings and tellings off by the sparrows....just gorgeous. Beatrice Potter, I know we would've been besties and taken devonshire tea at our weekly appointment. -teehee....

I love this, I grew up on these stories, those and the 'proper' whinnie the pooh.

Yes, I love these stories too - they're very nerdy and twee, but lovely all the same, and the artwork is fantastic!!
