for a couple of people who wanted the recipe - here is is my dears xx
1.5 cups of milk
2 tsp of sugar
1 tblsp active yeast
2 cups flour
1.25 tsp salt.
Micro the milk till warm (about a minute)...add sugar and yeast, mix then leave it for around 10 mins, till frothy.
stir salt and flour in a large bowl and make a well in the centre....pour in the frothy liquid, and beat to a smooth paste, using a wooden spoon...cover and set aside for 30-45 mins, until the mix is very frothy.
Heat up a frying pan with a large knob of butter...cook large dessert spoonfuls of mixture, leaving for around 3-4 mins per side,until the bubbles pop before flipping....Eat them hot with lots of butter and jam........or toast them if you prefer.
